Liberami in una mattina luminosa di erba ancora umida di pioggia, liberami nella brezza rischiarata da un sole che racconta già la bellezza del suo prossimo tramonto, liberami schiudendo lentamente le mani al cui calore mi proteggevi e riscopri le tue braccia aperte al vento, come dopo un abbraccio. Liberami e sorridi nel momento in cui da goccia e polvere mi vedrai camminare scalzo su verdi steli di respiro. Tingi il colore dei miei occhi e lascialo sciogliere come una nuvola nell'oceano, nella profondità del mio sorriso mi ricorderà del tuo. Assaggia il mio respiro ora che sono abbastanza grande da aver varcato le soglie dell'innocenza ed aver visto quanto sfumano nell'esistenza di una vita. Liberami con la libertà di camminarmi accanto.

Taste my breath now that I'm old enough to have crossed the thresholds of innocence and have seen how they fade in one life's existence. Set me free with the freedom of walking next to me.
